T@BS and Fiends and Spooks, Oh My! Oct 25 - Nov 6, 2011, Part 2

The rest of Friday was spent running my mouth with the Fiends already there, and setting up camp, and a Wal-Mart run. Ed and Rita were over on the other side of the loop and so was Melissa, then over on our side of the loop was Lorna and Richie, TJ and Missie, and Stef and Trevor, there was an empty site waiting for the Auburns when they arrived. The Fiends were taking over the 500 Loop!! Found out that Paula was to have the site across from Ed, Rita, and Melissa later that day!!

Here are a few campsite pictures.

Saturday, October 29th

Saturday morning was spent finishing up the decorations and taking care of all those little OCD things I HAVE to do to the camper, then I ran over to McDonald's over by All-Stars cause I had forgotten to EAT on Friday.

I also ran to the trading post and got ice to make sure the cooler full of steaks stayed good and fresh!!

Rick arrived by DME later that afternoon. We got his stuff he brought in his carryon settled in place, then it was time to head to Red Lobster!!

A few pics at Red Lobster and finally some Pood Forn!!

After Red Lobster, a lot of the folks headed over to Port Orleans Riverside to watch Bob the singer in the bar, and I headed back to the campground cause AUBURN was playing!!! WAR EAGLE!! Spent the evening with Jen, TJ, and Missy watching the game at their campsite.

I took CJ and Nick with me, and got an entertaining story from the backseat about what cars they were gonna buy, and CJ proclaimed that he had to wait till he was 21 to buy what he wanted cause mom's insurance wouldn't cover it until then

Sunday, October 30th

Well today was BATWIT!!!! (Beers Around the World Intoxication Tour) Rick, true to form decided to sleep in so I headed on out.

Only a few Fiends were there at the beginning, but the group grew as the afternoon progressed!!

October 31, 2011 - HALLOWEEN!!!

Halloween actually didn't get off to a good start. It was raining that morning and lasted till about noon. Rick didn't get up and head for the shower till after the rain stopped, and by then breakfast was looooong over at Trails End. I suggested IHOP since I know they serve breakfast 24/7 and we did have to run to Wal-Mart anyway for Halloween Candy. (We waited till that day, cause we literally had no place to store it in the air conditioning). Rick actually wasn't feelin IHOPish, and we tried Trails End for lunch, but they had already quit serving lunch, so we headed towards IHOP anyway.

By then we were both "HANGRY" and when we pulled into IHOP saw a Chinese buffet and ended up there. Not bad, and it took the HANGRY's away.

We picked up the Halloween candy, and headed back to the Fort.

Here are a few pictures of the Trick or Treating Table

Apparently the Fort POPO controlled the outsiders this year, cause we had candy leftover. I also handed out my adult trick or treats (Small doses of Kungaloosh). I had 100 small cups and handed out every one. What's funny, is I think the Kungaloosh cost less than the candy!!

We then all gathered at Lorna's for another great Fiend gathering!!

Sadly, after the festivities the Auburns had to head home, I stoked Jen with some Mt. Dew for the drive home and we all waved as they pulled out.

Oh, and just a post script, the festivities on Sunday night were for Lorna's BIRTHDAY!!!! Happy Birthday Lorna!!!!!

I should probably break this off and continue in another post!! More Disney and Fort Wilderness fun coming in Part 3!
