We have reservations for the Ft. this year for Halloween. Is it true that trick or treating on Halloween night is INSANELY crowded (too much so)? I'm hearing that they open the Ft. to the general public and all the other Disney resorts on this night and its crazy. Also have heard they may be limiting access. Just wondering which is the case. We may cancel :c Thanks

Hi!! They have been limiting "public" access to the Fort on major holidays and especially Halloween. We find Halloween to be really fun at the Fort!! They make sure only those that have reseravations or are resort guests can park at the Fort on Halloween. However, they don't stop folks from busing in from other resorts or Downtown Disney. We always have a big group of folks that have a big party on Halloween. Check out www.fortfiends.net We are a great bunch and have LOTS of fun!!

Thank you for the info! This is our 5th year camping @ the Ft. (first time for Halloween) and we absolutely love it! I read some complaints on another blog site about T or T night crowds, so wasn't sure what to expect. Thanks again...appreciate it. I'll def check out the website : )
